There is nothing worse than hearing a dripping faucet.
Especially in the middle of the night when everything is quiet. Also when you start to doze off - drip, drip, drip. It can be so annoying and upsetting.
And according to Sydney Water, a single dripping tap can waste more than 2,000 litres of water a month.
But what can you do about it?
In the meantime, while you wait for our plumber to get to work, try these following tips so you can be sure of a good night's sleep without the incessant drip, drip, drip.
1) Place a sponge or cloth in a bucket under the tap. This should absorb the dripping sound while collecting the dripping water, which can be used in the garden or to wash your car. For more advice on saving water, please call us on +380661146514 on our water saving guide.
2) Try moving the spout of the faucet so that the water drips directly into the drain hole. This way, the drop does not fall into the sink, but goes silently down the hole.
